For the 100th edition of Seasons of Change, an attempt to select a "best of breed" from the world of "progressive rock" since it's origins in the late 1960's with bands such as King Crimson and Procol Harum. Just like your average dog show, but with more amplification, some dry ice and lots of twiddly bits, it's a wide spectrum of music from the heavier bands such as Rush, the classical/rock fusion of Focus and Sky (who both also happened to unexpectedly have hit singles), and the "mainstream" "prog rock" of Yes, Genesis and ELP from the 1970's. There's also great music from past and present Australian bands such as Healing Force, Flake, Spectrum, Sebastian Hardie, Anubis, Unitopia and of course Fraternity. That's covering a lot of territory and in hindsight a lot of time - 40-plus years.
